Alhough nothing quite compares to actually having Guy and his amazing animals visit your school or group, we understand that during this unusual time, that may not be possible.
For that reason, Guy has developed tailor-made online workshops presented live and direct from bugsnstuff HQ via HD webcam using the software of your choice (Zoom, Skype, FaceTime etc).
We're putting the ZOO into ZOOM!
One of the many benefits of an online session is that you may see animals that are not normally brought into schools including giant grasshoppers, desert scorpions and huge centipedes! Using screen sharing technology, Guy can also show you photographs and films from his many field trips around the world, all helping to enhance the experience!
Having travelled to many of the world's most amazing places, Guy has researched the topics he teaches 'in the wild' so you can be sure that when you book bugsnstuff for your school, he can tell you first hand about these magnificent places and the amazing creatures that live there!
Being online also means that we're not restricted by distance - schools normally out of our catchment area can now book a live session! Finally, without travel expenses, the cost of the online workshops is lower than a normal visit.
Testimonials:
"Guy managed to keep 34 Brownies and leaders entertained for over an hour by Zoom which is no mean feat! We loved meeting all of his creatures (of which there were many), laughing and learning. Who knew scorpions glow in the dark or that stick insects love to wave at the camera?! Guy was extremely patient with the Brownies and even stayed longer than we'd booked him for to answer all their questions. We wouldn't hesitate to book him again in the future!"
Lucy Harris.
"Thanks again for the session last week. I have had lots of positive comments from parents telling me that their daughter really enjoyed it and learned a lot! One of the girls wrote the message below and wanted me to send it on to you."
"Dear Guy, my name is Neve, one of the Brownies. Thanks you so much for teaching me about mini-beasts. My favourite one was the 1st stick insect. I wish you could come and see our stick insects at school. The biggest one we've got is called Big Bob! Thank you again for doing it!"
